Defect

After the ignition key is turned on, it takes approx. 1 second to initialize the TCM (Transmission Control Module). If a vehicle is parked with a gear engaged (i.e. the ignition key was turned off with the gear shift lever positioned at “D” or “M” in the previous driving cycle) and the driver quickly turns the ignition key from the “OFF” position to the “START” position within 1 second before TCM is initialized, the starter motor may move the vehicle unexpectedly.
