Published

What the hazard is

This could lead to a gradual increase in steering effort due to the loss of power steering assistance. If the power steering fluid leaks onto a heat source, it may lead to a fire.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be advised to contact their Nissan dealer to arrange for the inspection and repair of their vehicle.

Defect

The power steering high pressure hose may separate over time as a result of incorrect clamp fittings. If this occurs, the power steering fluid may leak.
