What the hazard is

If the front central passenger buckle unclips, the seat belt would not secure the passenger in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and there is a risk of serious injury.

What to do

Peugeot Australia will contact all known owners by advising to present their vehicle to their preferred authorised Peugeot dealer to have the centre seat belt buckle modified with heat shrink sleeve and a foam pad. For further information consumers can contact Peugeot Customer Service by phoning 1300 304 077. To find the nearest Peugeot dealership, visit http://www.peugeot.com.au and select 'Find A Dealer'.

Defect

The front central passenger seat belt could unclip from the buckle when braking or avoiding obstacles.
