The failure of the mounting hardware may cause a noise and reduce steering response, forcing the wheel to turn in the wrong direction. This may pose an accident risk for the vehicle occupants or other road users.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail and are advised to contact their local authorised RAM Truck dealer, who will inspect and rectify the vehicle. For further information, consumers can visit www.ramtrucks.com.au or phone 1300 681 792.

Defect

Some RAM 2500 and 3500 Trucks may have a defective tie rod bracket and mounting hardware.
