Renault TRAFIC (2015–2016)

Published

What the hazard is

There may be abnormal noise and tyre friction inside the wheel arch, which may be followed by a risk of uncoupling of the rear axle from the body. This could lead to unstable road holding, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified to contact a Renault Dealer to arrange for inspection and rectification of their vehicle. Further information is available from any Renault dealer or by phoning Renault's Customer Relation Department on 1800 009 008.

Defect

The rear axle may have an insufficiently tightened Panhard Rod bolt, due to a production error.
