What the hazard is
If the wheel lug nut loosens or the tyre deflates while the trailer is being towed, there is a risk of wheel loss, increasing the risk of an accident and serious injury or death to the vehicle occupants and other road users.

Defect
Wheels with an incorrect lug nut taper angle were installed on the trailers. This may cause the lug nuts to loosen or cracks to develop causing a loss of air pressure in the affected tyre.
