Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles.

Defect

There is the potential in the event a vehicle with a full tank of fuel is involved in a severe collision, that the LHR fuel tank retaining strap bracket may fail allowing the fuel tank to dislodge resulting in the possibility of a fuel leak.
