What the hazard is

Insufficient tensioning of the steering bevel may lead to loss of steering control.

What to do

Letters will be sent to affected owners. The steering bevel lock-nut tension will be checked and, where necessary, the steering bevel assembly will be replaced free of charge. Defect

Due to insufficient tensioning of the steering bevel lock-nut on affected trucks within the VIN range, there is the possibility that the lock-nut may loosen.
