What the hazard is

If the airbag does not deploy correctly there is an increased risk of injury to the driver during a collision.

What to do

Affected customers have been notified by mail. Customers should contact their nearest Mahindra Dealer to have upgraded software installed. The installation process generally should take 5-7 mins to complete and no parts are required to be changed during the upgrade.

Defect

There is a possibility of an intermittent fault code that may inhibit deployment of the side curtain airbag.
