What the hazard is
If this condition is evident over prolonged periods of time, under full lock in a car park type situation, this might cause excessive strain on the tie rod ends and potential failure to this part, causing a loss of steering.
What to do
Contact Performax International or one of its dealers to have the recall procedure conducted.
Defect
Some vehicles through normal wear and tear might develop a condition in which contact between the steering knuckle and the steering stop occurs.
