Letters will be sent to owners of affected vehicles and will be advised of what their next steps are in obtaining a repair. For further information or queries, contact Mercedes-Benz Australia on 03 9566 9266.

Defect

Incorrect software coding within the rear control unit may result in the seatbelt handover arm not retracting when the vehicle is moving. In the event of an accident this may impair the correct operation of the front seat belts and cause the handover arm to break resulting in sharp edges.
