What the hazard is
A loss of vehicle control increases the risk of an accident, which may cause injury and/or death to vehicle occupants or other road users.
What to do
Owners of affected vehicles can contact Tesla through their Mobile-App and make arrangements with their nearest authorised Tesla Service to have the work carried out free of charge.
Defect
The front suspension lateral link bolts may not have been tightened sufficiently and may become loose or separate from the sub-frame. This could result in a loss of vehicle control.
