What to do
No action required by consumers, the software will be updated "over the air" not requiring a workshop visit. This will be done with no cost to the owners.
Defect
Due to a software issue some functions of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) multimedia system may not deactivate when the vehicle starts moving. This can result in driver distraction potentially drawing their attention away from the road.
