What the hazard is

Affected consumer will be notified by letter. Consumers can contact their nearest Indian Motorcycle dealer to arrange for rectification.
Defect
In some vehicles, the piston retaining ring located in the rear master cylinder may not fully seat into the machined groove in the master cylinder bore. Motorcycles assembled with an affected master cylinder may experience a loss of fluid pressure to the rear brake caliper resulting in rear brake failure.
