What the hazard is
A vehicle fire may increase the risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, bystanders and/or damage to property.
What to do
Owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Western Star dealer to arrange to have the necessary work carried out and to have the parts ordered prior to your arrival, Free of charge. Note: Please be aware FL907 is an addition to the previously released recall FL766 (released in 2018) and completion is required irrespective of whether FL766 has previously been carried out or not.
Defect
The bulkhead pass through power cable stud with an attached gasket seal may contact the bulkhead. If this occurs it may result in an electrical arcing, increasing the risk of vehicle fire.
