What the hazard is

If the sunroof frame detaches from the vehicle, it could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to other road user and bystanders.

What to do

Ford will contact affected owners in writing, requesting that owners make an appointment at their preferred Ford Authorised Dealership for inspection and rectification carried out free of charge. Defect

Due to a manufacturing issue, the sunroof frame may not have been bonded correctly to the body and could become loose and detach from the vehicle.
