What the hazard is

Poor visibility will potentially increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly by their Lotus dealer to arrange for replacement of the windscreen wipers motor assembly, free of charge. For further information, contact Lotus Cars Australia Customer Care by email at customercare@lotuscars.com.au.

Defect

Due to a software issue, the windscreen wipers may operate at half the required speed. In the event of heavy rain this may lead to poor visibility for the driver.
