What the hazard is

If the front passenger seat moves inadvertently in the event of an accident or hard braking, it could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles can contact Polestar Customer Support or their nearest authorised Polestar Partner to have the vehicle inspected as soon as possible, and the work carried out, free of charge.

Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the front passenger seat mounting bolts may not have been tightened according to specifications and could become loose or detach. As a result, the seat may move inadvertently.
