What the hazard is
A loss of motive power or engine stalling whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
What to do
Lexus will contact owners in writing, requesting they make an appointment at their preferred Lexus dealer who will inspect and if required rectify the vehicle, free of charge. Defect
Due to a manufacturing defect, there is a possibility of engine machining debris contamination within the engine. This could lead to potential engine knocking, rough running and/or stalling during operation causing a loss of motive power.
