What the hazard is
A sudden loss of motive power whilst riding could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to the rider and/or passenger, or other road users.
What to do
Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their authorised KTM dealer to make an appointment as a priority to have the recall performed, free of charge.
Defect
Due to a software issue in the vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU), the engine may stall at low RPM resulting in a sudden loss of motive power whilst riding.
