Ford MACH-E (2024–2025)

Published

What the hazard is

Lighting features not operating as intended may reduce the driver’s visibility. Additionally, other road users may be unable to identify the vehicle in dark conditions increasing the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Ford Motor Company Australia asking them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge. Note: A warning message will appear and the turn signal indicator will fast flash in the instrument panel cluster.

Defect

Due to a potential fault in the Light Emitting Diode (LED) Driver Control Module (LDCM) this module may fail. As a result, high beam, low beam, position lamps and daytime running lamps may not operate as intended.
