HARLEY DAVIDSON RH1250S (Sportster S) (2021–2026)

Published

What the hazard is

A loss of vehicle control whilst riding could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to rider, passenger and/or other road users.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Harley-Davidson asking them to schedule an appointment to have their motorcycle inspected and if affected, a new upper triple clamp installed on their motorcycle, free of charge. Note: Your vehicle must be inspected even if works were performed under the previous recall (0190).

Defect

Under certain driving conditions the upper triple clamp that secures the handlebar may fracture. This could lead to a loss of vehicle control whilst riding.
