What the hazard is
A loss of motive power and/or vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or damage to property.
What to do
Note: (This recall supersedes REC-006165) Owners of affected vehicles should contact their local authorised LDV dealer to make an appointment to have the vehicle inspected and if necessary fuel line replaced, free of charge.
Defect
Due to a manufacturing defect, the low-pressure fuel delivery line may not meet specifications. As a result, it may deteriorate allowing fuel to potentially leak resulting in loss of motive power whilst driving, and in the presence of an external ignition source may result in a vehicle fire.
