PORSCHE 911 (992), GT4 RS (982), Spyder RS (982) (2024)

Published

What the hazard is

If a wheel detaches from the vehicle whilst driving, it could result in a loss of vehicle stability and control, increasing the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.

What to do

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Porsche and asked to arrange with their nearest authorised Official Porsche Centre to have the work carried out, free of charge. Note: Porsche urgently requests owners to stop using the vehicle until the check and any necessary remedial measure has been implemented.

Defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the road wheel centre lock nuts may fracture. This could cause the wheel to loosen and detach from the vehicle whilst driving. This recall has been updated since originally published 23 October 2026. Note: Porsche urgently requests owners to stop using the vehicle until the check and any necessary remedial measure has been implemented.
